Kuromon Ichiba Market

Kuromon Ichiba is a free covered shopping arcade — you pay only for what you buy — running about 580 metres through Nipponbashi, with roughly 150 stalls of fish, fruit, knives and cooked food. Many stalls now grill and serve on the spot for eating as you walk, and the market has fed Osaka's kitchens since the early nineteenth century.
