Nishi-Tachikawa Station

Showa Kinen Park is a 165-hectare national park on the site of the former Tachikawa airbase, laid out as a sequence of open lawns, waterways, a Japanese garden and a bonsai museum. Its scale is the point — cycle paths run for kilometres and rental bicycles are the usual way to cross it.
