A viewpoint at the northern end of Shimojishima Airport's Runway 17, named for the runway's 170-degree compass heading. At low tide a sandy shore is exposed in shallow turquoise water directly beneath the flight path, letting visitors watch touch-and-go training aircraft pass low overhead.
