A stone-and-concrete pier built in 1938 on Taketomi Island's west coast, once used by villagers ferrying to rice paddies on Iriomote by canoe. No longer used for boat traffic, it extends over shallow turquoise water toward Iriomote and is the island's best-known sunset-viewing spot.
Usual hours — confirm with the official site for holidays + seasonal closures.
