Hagoromo Falls tumbles roughly 270 m in seven tiered cascades down a columnar-basalt cliff in the Tenninkyo Gorge on the west side of Daisetsuzan National Park, making it one of Hokkaido's tallest waterfalls. A short walking trail from the Tenninkyo hot-spring hamlet leads through the forested ravine to a viewing platform beneath the falls.
