Okinawa
Bise Fukugi Tree Road is a sand lane running between rows of centuries-old fukugi trees, planted as windbreaks around the village on Okinawa's Motobu peninsula, with bicycles and ox-drawn carts for hire at the entrance. Walking it and the parking are both free. There is no rail access: it is roughly two to two and a half hours by bus from Naha, and it sits next to the Churaumi Aquarium, which is how most people combine the two.
Usual hours — confirm with the official site for holidays + seasonal closures.
