A 181-meter three-tiered waterfall on the Miyagi side of Mount Zao, viewed together with the wide Fudo Falls from the Takimidai observatory at 700 m elevation along the Zao Echo Line. Sankai Falls is listed among Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls.
